About me
Hui Ying Koh is a Singaporean mulitmedia artist, graduating from Pratt Institute in 2025 with a BFA Fine Arts (Sculpture and Integrated Practices). Hui lives and works in New York City.
Through a continual experimentation of materiality, Hui captures observations of the mundane, the accumulated and other inevitabilities. Finding stability in patterns, her focus on labour intensive texturing echoes the repetitiveness present in everyday life. Exploring interiority and exteriority, the observed and overlooked, she questions what the metropolitianite has lost.
