Hui Ying Koh is a Singaporean mulitmedia artist. She graduated from Pratt Institute in 2025 with a BFA Fine Arts (Sculpture) and a Minor in History of Art.
Hui’s ideas start with observations of the mundane, finding stability in patterns. Through a continual experimentation of materiality, she captures everyday practices like her daily commute, lipstick traces left on a cup and other inevitabilities. Her focus on labour intensive texturing and patterning echoes the repetitiveness of the commonplace, creating a contemplative space for others to reflect what’s overlooked within the everyday.
